Maybelline Falsies! :)

Hi there guys! We're back again, but this time we're reviewing Maybelline Falsies Mascara which, according to us, is the best mascara in the history of mascaras! There are different kinds of Falsies Mascara, like Original, Flared and Volume Express. We are talking about the original. We both have black waterproof which is always handy for school. Even though Katie here has ginger eyelashes she still uses black!

As you can probably tell by the name it makes your lashes look false, we're smart aren't we!? Falsies has a spoon shaped brush which adds the mascara on all the lashes. This mascara doesn't clump at all unless the bottle is coming to an end. You get waterproof as well as normal as we said in the first paragraph. The colours vary as well, meaning you get browns blacks, etc. This can also save time in the morning because if you can apply it close enough to your tight and water line it looks as if you are wearing eyeliner too. The brush can bend slightly to ease difficulty of applying.

The packaging is purple with blue writing and the shape is just the same to most of the newer Maybelline mascaras, oval.

 



 

 

 P.S Sorry for this post being quite late, sadly our summer holidays have came to an end and we are back at school. We have lots of homework and tests coming up but we will try to keep up with the blog.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder!

Hello!! You've probably already noticed, but this post is going to be about Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This powder is the best we have both tried.

Stay matte powder is great for covering oily or shiny areas on your face. If you have been sweating during the day it might need a little top-up but if not it usually lasts all day. However the packaging is thin so this makes it easier to carry around with you for what ever you might get up to!

Its really light on your face and feels like you are wearing almost no makeup! You can find this powder in almost any drugstore and it comes lots of different skin tones and even transparent just to cover up oiliness. This is really handy if you don't want much colour. It also looks very natural.

Rimmel products are usually very affordable anyway but this is a 'whopping' £3.99!!

Maybelline Baby Lips!

Hiii! Our first blog post is a review on Maybelline Baby Lips. As you probably know Baby Lips have recently arrived in the UK.

Both of our collections put together, we almost have all six Baby Lips and already love them to bits! We have: Cherry Kiss
                Hydrate
                Pink Punch
                2 Peach Kisses
                and Mint Fresh.
(we don't have Intense Care, yet!)

Mint Fresh, Intense Care and Hydrate don't have any tint to them but they are extremely hydrating. Personally we like to put these ones on our lips at night before we go to bed. The other ones have a slight tint of colour to them however this is very sheer until you layer it up. Peach Kiss doesn't have as much colour but it has sparkle.

Moving on, now lets discuss the scents. All the Baby Lips we own smell amazing however Hydrate doesn't really have much of a scent. It just smells like normal Vaseline but Alison here thinks it smells like baby powder! Eh no!

Alison: "My favourite Baby Lips is 'Cherry Me' just because I love the bright colour it can display once layered up and smells absolutely fabulous!!!"

Katie: "My favourite Baby Lips is 'Pink Punch' because the colour it gives is really really adorable, the colour's a bit like 'Revlon Lip Butter in the colour Strawberry Shortcake'. The smell is also amazing, if I could I would sit and smell it all day long!"
